In a sick way, I miss blogging. I wonder what happened to all my stalking, death threat delivering, nutcase stalkers? Those were the days. I was always amazed at how seriously idiots take the internet.

So let’s play catch up. My lab is now 3 years old. I only went on one skydiving vacation this year. I’ve purchased several new firearms, another 34′ camper, and a helmet cam. I’m sure I missed something there.

My chimney blew off.

Then part of my roof blew off. Having a house over 100 years old is pretty slick, but requires constant repair.

I just bottled a batch of Amber Ale, and I have a batch of Imperial Pale Ale in primary.

I hit 30 countries in 2 days on 20 meters last month.

So that’s about it. Guns, beer, travel, and falling from the sky. Who could ask for more? Here’s hoping 2010 is as great to me as 2009 was.

The aisle seat used to be great. You could stretch out your leg, get to the bathroom without disturbing people sitting next to you. You got a little extra shoulder room with your own arm rest. That’s all changed. Now it’s a place to have a fat ass bounced off your head every time the fat stewardess walks by.

Seriously. Hire some thin people.

He needs to go before he makes things worse. He needs to take that fucking nutcase Barney Frank with him. Calling Scalia a homophobe? Has he bothered to look up Scalia’s voting record? Why does nobody call him on his idiocy? Why is he still in Washington?

If you’re employed, hard working, and pay your taxes, you’re fucked.

Is that what the founding fathers had in mind? Create a “working class” who’s job is to support those who choose not to? That’s not fair. Some are unable to. Many people are unable to work do to their disabilities. You know. Obesity. Depression. Anxiety. Fear of labor. The people who bled to turn their vision of a free land where men and women are able to make their own way without government oppression into a reality have been betrayed. I guess they didn’t foresee citizens allowing themselves to become subjects. It’s quite easy, really. Create a class of people supported by your representatives in government, with your money. Continue to support them for generations, fostering their dependence. Toss out a candidate who can motivate their unemployed, lazy asses and get them to the polls. Voila! Socialism!

It’s a sad day for America. Even if we turn it around, the effect will be felt for generations.

I’m willing to give the guy a chance. It certainly isn’t looking good, though.

The proposed head of Homeland Security (you know, that little organization that is tasked with securing the homeland) Janet Napolitano has talked tough about clamping down on immigration. That’s a great speech. It’s only a speech, though. Janet has been tasked with governing Arizona and it’s borders. She’s allowed Arizona to be the greatest source of illegal immigrants in the U.S. Where’s the media outcry?

We also have the Commerce Department head nominee, Bill Richardson, who……. wait, he had to drop out in scandal.

Well, there’s always Tim Geithner, nominated to lead the Treasury Department. He’s lauded as a financial genius. Of course, he also tried to bilk the U.S. government out of thousands of dollars by failing to pay taxes. The media (you know, that impartial reporting group) systematically reported that it was an honest mistake, one which he was sorry for. Of course, we now learned that it was intentional and happened numerous times. Nobody cares, though. After all, if he’s good enough for the messiah, he’s good enough for us, right?

We can’t forget the Secretary of State nominee, Hillary Clinton. The skeletons aren’t even in her closet anymore. She publicly asserts that she’ll go as far as she can in the performance of her duties without harming the Nation. Oh, wait. She didn’t say nation. She said her husband’s foundation. She’ll go as far as she can to help the country, providing it doesn’t stop her husband’s gravy train. You remember her husband? Bill Clinton? Impeached President? Disbarred?

I could go on, but why bother? Few of us care. The media doesn’t. The corporations don’t. The public doesn’t appear to.
