Republican Debate

Am i the only one that isn’t really fired up for a candidate this time around? Maybe it’s because they jumped in so early. Maybe things will change as they near primary time.

First, this is the worst group of front-running Democrats that we’ve had in quite some time. I actually get nervous thinking about any of the Dems getting elected. When I sit back and think about it, I can’t believe they even have a following. Seriously. How could anyone support such a scandalous nutjob as Billary?

I’m not happy with the Republicans, either. Mostly their just “blah”. McCain puts on a great show, and if I didn’t know him I’d be excited for him to run. However, I DO know him. I know that regardless how he twists his words on stage, after the elections he’ll run to a closet with Fat Teddy Kennedy and sell out the American people.

Ron Paul is the only candidate I really like. I can’t say I’d ever vote for him, though. Not because he probably isn’t electable, but because he seems crazy. Almost every time he opens his mouth I find myself agreeing with him. Then he completely passes my thoughts and takes his position into nutty nutty land. He’s like that Uncle who comes over for Thanksgiving that everyone loves, but is always down on his luck because he’s pursuing his dream of becoming a toad sexologist.

Now that Thompson is in the race, I look forward to seeing what he brings to the table. I really like his presence, but that doesn’t put money in my pocket. Let’s see what he has to say.

  1. Out of them all, I like Tancredo the best so far, though I do not think he would win the primary. If he somehow manages to do so, I think he could win the election. As for Thompson, I have not been impressed all that much, I guess mainly because of the foot dragging. I don’t like the fact that the campaigning started as early as it did, but the fact is it did start early, and he missed the boat to the all of the first ports of call. I keep hoping Gingrich will come in, he is a powerful guy, with the right ideas, and I think not too far right. As for Ron paul, I don’t even consider him, he certainly sees way to nutty to be our president. Who can tell though which of these guys will be our choice in November 2008. Time will tell.

    All the best,
    Glenn B

  2. I’ll be voting for Paul, whether he’s the nominee or not. With one exception: If the Hildebeast is the Dem candidate. I’ll then be voting for any Republican candidate. Doesn’t matter one damned bit if I agree with anything they say. I simply cannot fathom what would happen to this country if that bitch were in charge.
