Hunting season is on its way!
It’s almost here. I’m thinking of picking up a new shotgun this week. I’m pretty sure I know what I want, but I’ll hold that info for later. It’s going to be a general purpose gun.
What do you use? What would your suggestion be?
Mossberg 500? I’ve had one for years. Short money and lasts forever.

I, too like the Mossberg 500. I use mine for home defense, thought. I picked up a Mossberg International Silver Reserve Over/Under for sporting clays (I don’t hunt. Yet.) Great gun, small bucks.

I’m not much on guns, but damn that’s a nice looking gun for the price…

I’m not a huge Mossberg fan. It’s an intro level gun, and performs like it. The older mossbergs were built better then the later models. The slides have a lot of play, the safety is weak, etc.
They’re inexpensive, and well worth the price, though. They had a 500 on sale for 150 bucks at dicks the other day.
