Where does the time go?

Odd. I started this blog 4 years ago. Initially I posted several times a day, then several times a week, then next to never. Gordon hasn’t posted in months, and Jonathan dropped off the face of the earth. I think he finally got laid. Now politics is on the front burner, and that’s normally prime blogging material for me. I just don’t give a shit this year. Sure, I watch all the debates and follow the issues, but I’m not excited about any of the candidates. So what have I been up to?

The usual. Hunting. Ice fishing. Working on the house. Playing COD4 on the XBox 360. Working, working, working. The same things still piss me off. Speaking of which, what the fuck is wrong with our welfare system?

I ran across an odd family last month, and walked away irate. It’s a mother with 5 kids, multiple fathers. Mom doesn’t speak one word of English, and has been living in this country for 20 years. I’m unsure of her status, but she is not a citizen. She doesn’t work, and as far as I know never has. She lives in government subsidized housing, and collects some form of assistance. Why the fuck are my tax dollars paying for this? I hate welfare to begin with, but the realization that we are IMPORTING people to give our money to burns me.

I wish I could build my own country. Not many moonbats would want to live there, though.

  2. Likewise, ,I havn’t read your blog in months. I love you man but it’s easier to turn on the radio and listen to Savage. Plus he’s more entertaining.

Regarding the non-citizen, 5 kids, no english: The money you recieve is not your tax dollars, it’s the governments play money. How dare you think you have any claim to it. I don’t think anyone in Washington continues to see the truth in where the welfare funds originate from. Those days are over and never to return.

I’ll be moving to your country as long as it doesn’t snow there.

  4. Yeah, I’ve just about had enough of The People’s Republic of California. We’re taking a trip to Idaho in March to scout out new locations. The whole fucking state has less than a third of the people here in the SF Bay Area. And values I can live with.

I figure in 2010 we’ll be able to make the move (both boys will be out of college) and we’ll be heading for the hills. Literally.

I just hope this piece of shit of a state, and our soon-to-be socialist country hold together until then.

  5. I would nuke your country, that is for sure. And then line up about 10,000 roosters to peck at what is left of your sorry carcass.

  6. You couldn’t nuke my country. You moonbats wouldn’t have any weapons. You’d call a coalition, ask the other nations of the world to join you, talk about how much you hate me, ask me to change, then pass an unenforceable resolution telling me to stop.

At that point, my 95 year old conservative grandmother would have grown sick of your incessant whining, grabbed her shotgun, and single-handedly taken over your unarmed country and installed herself as queen.

Then you’ll actually have to work to support yourself.

  8. Warm socialist greetings, comrade Geoffrey! I have read your blog since, oh, I dunno for a while now. I remember your past posts about our military experiences, firearms and getting married. FWIW, I too, just recently got married: my wife doesn’t understand (yet!)why I want to upgrade my beloved Colt .45 with a Bill Wilson replacement barrel.

I also remember that great video you posted about that guy who picked up some illegal immigrants and drove them to the Border Control office. That was great! Could you repost that video? I made a cursory attemp on YouTube and it didn’t pop up.

That is all! Carry on smartly!

  10. Hey, look, it’s the perpetual mouth, still running, but almost out of things to say.

Thanks for W’s second term by the way. You really nailed that one.
