It sucked.

  1. hahahha..

“The Official Beer of the American Sportsman”

    That’s what it’s called right?

    I think I’ll pass on it…..

I’d just as soon drink a can of Coors… :)

  2. I’ve never heard of Schmidt, but judging by your reaction, I’m guessing it ranks right up there with Milwaukee’s Best.

  4. Update.

Beers 2 and 3: I’m kinda changing my perspective. After I forced down the first, the others seem much smoother.

Beer 4: I was struck by a wave of nostalgia from the days I drank cheap beer at pit parties in high school or skipped school and went fishing or to the beach with my buddies.

Beers 5 & 6: Hard to explain, but the smell and taste of this swill reminds me of the cheap Narragansett my Dad drank when I was a kid. I miss that jackass.

Beer 7: Cheap beer. Pit parties, fishing, fraternity bashes, etc….. I love this beer!

BTW, you nailed it Sandy. It is ‚ÄúThe Official Beer of the American Sportsman‚Ä?. In fact, the reason I bought the case was not only the price ($11), but the commemorative cutthroat trout design on the label.

  5. New Belgium Skinny Dip has been my favorite beer this summer. I’m gonna have to see if I can get some more before they stop making it.

  6. Oh that’s great Gordon. Ya know I gave some Coors in a can to a bunch of Germans up here in my village..the first sip they asked me who pissed in the can but after about 5 more they decided it wasn’t half bad…

I suppose all beer has that effect though. I bought some Pabst Blue Ribbon YEARS ago because I was homesick. After a 6pk of that however I still thought it sucked..hehe..

  7. You haven’t had bad beer until you’ve tried a Red, White and Blue. It’s so bad they couldn’t give it away to homeless drunks.

  8. Gotta go with Sprecher’s. Just toured the brewery this weekend and they are an American microbrewery in Milwaukee. (I’ve had Schmidt and lived to tell the tale!)
